Ukiah writer and photographer, Jendi Coursey, will read from her new book: Perseverance & Passion: The People Who Shaped Health Care in Ukiah, California. This book, commissioned by Ukiah Valley Medical Center (UVMC) president, Gwen Matthews, commemorates the 60th anniversary of the founding of Hillside Community Hospital, which later became the UVMC. Joining Jendi will be researcher Lisa Ray, and Theresa Whitehill and Adrienne Simpson of Colored Horse Studios, who designed and produced the book. Free with Museum admission.
